The KCW Juniors U-19 team returned to Kansas City over the weekend the second-best U-19 team in the country after an impressive run to the U.S. Youth Soccer National Championship Game Sunday.

KCW Juniors U-19 team advances to nationals

The KCW Juniors U-19 team capped a successful U.S. Youth Soccer Region II Championship run Wednesday, beating cross-state opposition from Scott Gallagher Soccer Club in St. Louis 1-0. Curt McDonald scored the game-winning goal in the 51st minute from a Michael Perry pass, and Scott Angevine posted his 3rd shutout of the tournament. Read article »

Three age groups in the KCW Juniors Youth Development Program were crowned Kansas State Champions over the weekend, as the U-16, U-17 and U-19 teams rolled through the competition to capture state titles in their first year of competition.
