METROSTARS ANNOUNCE SPECIAL EVENT ON FEBRUARY 25TH
Can't wait for the 2006 season? Well, then get your MetroStars-fix by heading out to Giants Stadium on Saturday, February 25th for a special mid-winter's event, featuring the "Pride & Passion Pub" Open House and "Out with the Old" team merchandise sale. "Pride & Passion Pub" Open House The "Pride & Passion Pub" is a European-style soccer bar, complete with all of the special pub amenities. Located inside Giants Stadium, the Pride & Passion Pub is guaranteed to provide an incredible experience for the serious soccer fan. The Pub will open prior to every MetroStars home game and be exclusive to season ticket holders and special group buyers. Fans will have an opportunity to check out the "Pride & Passion Pub" experience during a special open house on Saturday, February 25th. Fans can come out to Giants Stadium, lounge in the pub, and meet some of the MetroStars players, coaches, MetroGirls and staff. Everyone is invited. Out with the Old SALE! Along with the "Pride & Passion Pub" Open House, the Red & Black will host an "Out with the Old" apparel sale to benefit the MetroStars charitable foundation. The locker room has been cleared out of all the team issued Nike gear, including new and used items. These items cannot be found in stores and will be available in a very limited quantity on February 25th. Items include game worn jerseys & shorts, training gear, goalie jerseys, polo's and other Nike apparel. So come on out to Giants Stadium on Saturday, February 25th, check out the "Pride & Passion Pub", get your authentic team gear, and spend a few hours with the MetroStars. Specifics:
