With a strict coaching ratio of 1:12 these elite training programs ensure that each player gets the optimum individual attention required to take their game to the next level. A carefully structured curriculum ensures that as players progress through the schools, they work on each and every technical aspect of their game. Players who excel within the development schools are selected to represent the MetroStars in one-off showcase tournament teams, whilst the very best performers will even earn an opportunity to try out for the Metrostars Academy teams. Ultimately, a place on the MetroStars first team could beckon! The schools take place year-round, and are split into four seasons. MetroStars Regional Development School (RDS) is part of the MetroStars Training Program and focuses on individual skill development for players aged 8 - 14 years. Located throughout the tri-state area, these exclusive schools are for competitive travel players looking to get the most comprehensive year-round soccer training possible.
